3. Circular and renewable<\/strong><\/h2>

Powered by renewables<\/strong><\/h3>

Teemill is net carbon neutral. All their factories use renewable energy and\u00a0the organic cotton farming methods that create our products avoid chemicals made using fossil fuels.<\/p>

As part of an ongoing commitment to carbon neutrality, Teemill owns a solar farm in the UK, which powers their operations. The factory they work with in India also owns two wind farms and a 150kw PV solar array.<\/p>

Every product remilled<\/u><\/a> is a product that doesn't need to be made from scratch. Developing low-waste, circular production methods<\/a> across the supply chain and planting trees regularly with international partners reduces and offsets the carbon footprint.<\/p>

Made to last<\/strong><\/h3>

These products are made to last and we encourage everyone to care for them properly and use them for as long as possible. T-shirts are printed to order using water-based inks one at a time and in real-time, so there\u2019s no waste from over-stocked designs and sizes.\u00a0What is made is only what people need, when they need it.\u00a0 <\/p>

When they are no longer wearable,\u00a0each is designed to be sent back\u00a0to us and the material reprocessed, respun, and made into new products.\u00a0You can find instructions on how to do this inside every product on the wash care label. Scan it and get a Freepost code (if you're in the UK) to send the item back and get store credit in return.<\/p>

Plastic-free packaging<\/strong><\/h3>

By 2050 there will be more plastic in the ocean than fish. This is bad. Instead of plastic packaging, Teemill uses a rip and splash-proof mailer bag made out of paper. Big orders come in cardboard boxes, with paper-based tape.<\/p>
